Introduction

Saudi International Travel Company uses high ethical standards and respects the client’s privacy. Save for disclosures required by law in any relevant jurisdiction and the disclosure of the client’s name, email address and the client’s credit card details for completing their booking, we will not disclose the client’s personal information to third parties without their consent. However, SITC reserve the right to disclose the client’s personal information to within SITC including our affiliated (group) companies’ employees and our trusted agents and representatives who have access to this information with our permission and who need to know or have access to this information to perform our service (including customer services and internal (audit/compliance) investigation) to and for the benefit of the client.

Clients can browse the website without revealing their identity or personal Information. When the clients register, they will be asked to provide certain personal Information.

Use of the clients’ personal information

We use Personal Information submitted by the clients in the following ways:

  • To fulfill our agreement with clients, including processing their holiday details and sending any information relating to their booking.
  • In order to verify payment details, screening, billing and other accounting or credit control purposes.
  • Immigration and customs control, safety, security, health, administrative and legal purposes.
  • Statistical and marketing analysis, frequent flyer programs, customer surveys, customer relations, updates about the website, our products, our services, and identifying the client requirements and preferences.
  • To enable clients to participate in competitions and offers for certain products and services which may be of interest to them, unless they inform us otherwise; and for web administration, systems testing, maintenance and development (Including enabling us to respond to comments on the website or the clients’ feedback).

If clients do not wish to receive our newsletters and other mailings from us relating to our products and services and those of organizations with whom we have a strategic relationship, they may opt-out by ticking the relevant boxes on the website or the newsletters or other mailings they receive from us.

Disclosures

For the purposes of providing services to clients through the website and delivering or making our services available to them, the client’s personal Information may be passed to and used by: Our employees and agents, Our group companies (which may be located in other countries) and other companies involved in meeting the client’s requirements (for services such as hotels, suppliers and Car Rental), Our partner airlines and franchises, data processing companies, travel agents, credit and debit card companies and screening service providers.

Saudi International Travel Company may also disclose the client’s personal information in the following circumstances.

  • If it is required to do so by applicable law or under a court or similar order to government and enforcement agencies including customs and/or immigration departments.
  • As deemed necessary, in our discretion, to protect our legal rights or property, or property of a member or third party, or to prevent personal injury; and/or in connection with a sale, merger, assignment, joint venture or other transfer or disposition of a portion or all of our assets or stock or our affiliated entities.
  • ​​In case it is necessary to disclose the client’s data in a jurisdiction that does not have data protection laws, wherein SITC will not incur any liabilities due to this disclosure.​​

Hyperlinks to other websites

The website contains hyperlinks to websites owned and operated by third parties which are beyond our control. For example, when the client uses our search engine for certain courses, the search results will provide links to other websites from the website’s pages that take the client outside the website. These other websites have their privacy policies and we urge the client to review them – because this privacy policy will not apply there. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for the privacy practices of such third-party websites and the client’s use of such websites is at their own risk. ​We are only responsible for Handling and processing of client’s confidential data which has been passed to us directly through our website.

We do not permit our pages to be loaded into frames on the client’s website – Our web pages must load into the user’s entire window.

We reserve the right to move or change the website’s URL at any time in order to meet business needs and continually improve our online service.

We may charge a reasonable fee for such requests as permitted by law. We will use reasonable efforts to supply, correct or delete Personal Information about the client on our files.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

From time to time, we may update this Privacy Policy. When we do so, we will publish the changes on this website​ with a notification on the website detailing a change to the policy has been made​. If clients do not agree to these changes, please do not continue to use the website.
